SACUBO will offer a one-day workshop for those wishing to take a step forward in their careers. The Next Generation Chief Business Officers (NGCBO) program will be held on Sunday, April 7.
Higher education is facing dramatic turnover in the workplace as boomers embark on retirement. CBOs are not immune to this situation and many are concerned about their ability to identify and/or recruit their successors. The NGCBO program was created by SACUBO in response to this challenge.
NGCBO focuses on the key aspects of the CBO position and what it takes to be successful in today’s challenging environment. This program incorporates activities that help attendees understand how they function best and how their approach in the workplace impacts others. As with all SACUBO events, the networking value for attendees is a huge plus.
One-day registration is only $300.
The registration fee for the one-day NGCBO program is only $300, and attendees will be able to earn up to 7.5 CPEs for the program.
The registration fee to attend both the NGCBO program and the Annual Meeting is $850 (if you register by February 22) for SACUBO members.
This one-day program is targeted to non-CFO senior staff in the finance/business division of colleges and universities. Attendees have the option to attend this program individually or combined with the Annual Meeting. Additional fees are involved for this program.
The NGCBO program will be presented and facilitated by Larry Goldstein, president of Campus Strategies, LLC, and frequent presenter for SACUBO. This is a program that combines lecture, small-group activity, and individual discovery.
