About SACUBO Annual Meeting

The SACUBO 2018 Annual Meeting took place at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel located at 1300 Houston Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102. The official dates of the meeting were May 6 – 8, 2018. The first day of educational sessions was Sunday, May 6.

Attending the Annual Meeting is a great way to obtain CPE credits, share best practices, learn from the experts, network with colleagues from the region, and have fun!


Learning objectives

The learning objective for this professional development meeting was the introduction or enhancement of critical technical and management skills targeted to higher education business professionals. At the conclusion of the meeting, participants should have been able to:

  • Focus on the demands placed on CFO’s, including the steps to be taken to meet those demands and roles, and the skills and qualities essential for success in today’s environment.
  • Interact with SACUBO Committee Members, higher education vendors, and session speakers on topics related to many economic changes that will impact colleges and universities. .
  • Implement best practices in addressing Human Resources related matters.
  • Discuss current issues in accounting, technology, financing, and taxes.

CPE Information

The Annual Meeting is an excellent opportunity to earn continuing professional education credits. Earn CPE credits as you attend sessions, confer with colleagues, and meet industry leaders from across the region. Participants who attended all educational sessions offered were able to earn up to 17 CPE credits.
