Leading from Strength: Negotiation Strategies for Women

This session will focus on negotiating through the lens of self-advocacy. This session should move participants’ thinking about negotiating solely in terms of contract or salary arrangements to reframe negotiations as ultimately a form of problem solving. Participants will consider the many ways we have to negotiate our lives, the gendered challenges to negotiating, and the ways in which we can successfully negotiate without sacrificing one’s own interests, values, and priorities.

  • Define some clear strategies on how to negotiate while maintaining authenticity with the ultimate goal of achieving one’s maximum potential.
