SACUBO Scholarships

SACUBO will provide five scholarships of $1,000 each for individuals to attend the 2026 Fall Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. These scholarships help to promote professional development for individuals whose institution cannot afford to send an employee to this workshop.

The applicant’s college or university must be a member of SACUBO for the application to be considered. The deadline to submit an application is August 5, 2026. Applicants will be notified of their application status by early September.

NASPO/PPA Scholarships

NASPO and PPA are pleased to provide a new scholarship opportunity for procurement professionals! This scholarship is designed to support recipients with access to attend the SACUBO Fall Conference with registration fees covered. With your attendance, you will also have the opportunity to speak at and share your insights during a procurement-focused session at the conference.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Must oversee the procurement function at your university and hold one of the following titles or equivalent: Manager/Director of the Procurement Department, CPO, or VP
  • Demonstrate 5 years of procurement experience with 2 years in a leadership role
  • Provide a nomination letter — from a supervisor or colleague — on why you deserve this scholarship (1 page limit)
  • Willing to speak during a procurement-focused session at the conference
  • Must be a PPA member (SACUBO members get a special membership discount (member login required)!
