We hope to see you in Lexington in November!
Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa
The Griffin Gate Marriott Resort and Spa is located in the rolling Bluegrass Country hills of Lexington. Although the resort is located only a few minutes from downtown, it feels like a true city escape.
Take the time to discover Lexington – the Horse Capital of the World – and all it has to offer. The Griffin Gate Marriott is near the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Race Track, and the University of Kentucky.
Fall temperatures in Lexington can range from comfortable to chilly. Highs in November tend to run in the mid 50s, with lows falling into the 30s at night. Lexington typically receives a little over 3½ inches of precipitation in November.
Layered clothing is best. Long or short sleeves are recommended but have a sweater or light jacket available since it may be cool in the meeting rooms and at night. Casual business attire is suitable for all meeting sessions and receptions.
The fall workshop is an excellent opportunity to earn continuing professional education credits. Earn CPE credits as you attend sessions, confer with colleagues, and meet industry leaders from across the region. Participants who attend all educational sessions offered will be able to earn up to an estimated 15 CPE credits.
Certificates will be emailed within two weeks after the meeting.
The Southern Association of College and University Business Officers (SACUBO) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: NASBAregistry.org.
